01How long does a typical job take?
A standard 3-bedroom villa re-roof is typically 3–5 working days from strip-off to sign-off, weather permitting. Larger or two-storey homes run 5–8 days. We give you a firm programme as part of the quote.
02Do I need to move out while you work?
No. We work over the existing ceiling and tarp at the end of each day, so you can live in the house through the entire job. We just ask that you keep vehicles out of the driveway and pets inside while we're on the roof.
03Is your work guaranteed?
Yes — every job comes with the manufacturer's warranty on the materials (typically 25–50 years) and our own 10-year workmanship guarantee in writing. If anything we've installed fails inside that window, we come back and fix it at no cost.
04Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. We work directly with all major NZ insurers — IAG, Tower, Vero, AA, FMG — and handle the scope of works, photographs, quotes and progress claims on your behalf. Most claims we run end-to-end with you only signing off.
05How much does a typical job cost?
It depends on size, materials and access. A typical 3-bedroom villa re-roof in long-run iron is $18k–$28k inclusive of new spouting; tile and slate roofs run higher. We quote every job in detail before any commitment.
06Do you do emergency repairs?
Yes. We run a 24/7 emergency line for active leaks and storm damage. Same-day call-out across the region in most weather; we'll get tarps and temporary patching on first, then quote the permanent repair.
07Are you Site Safe certified?
Yes. Every crew member holds a current Site Safe Construction Passport, and we operate to Site Safe scaffolding and edge-protection standards on every job. Happy to email through the documentation before we start.
08Do you handle consent and council paperwork?
On most re-roofs, no consent is required. For new builds, extensions and structural work, we handle the building consent application, council inspections and CCC end to end as part of the contract.
